It's interesting to note that Swe-cha likes to leave 1 spoonful of his food most of the time. He'll be eating heartily one moment and then the next, he'll refuse and will keep turning his head from side to side when you attempt to feed him.
I do like it this way, though, because it eliminates the guesswork out of his food. Did I give him enough ? Will I overfeed him and make him throw up if I give him some more food ? I don't have to worry :)
I normally just prepare a bowl of food - somewhere between the 2/3 mark or full to the brim, depending on whether or not it is a heavy meal - and when we're done and he finishes it all off, I prepare a little bit more... and a bit more... until he refuses the last spoonful.
