This evening, while I was prepping dinner, Swe-cha runs over to the kitchen gate. He points to a small rubber ball and says "ball .... me".
I gave him the ball and he ran off.
A few minutes later, the ball bounces back into the kitchen, he runs to me again, points to the ball and says "ball... me" and I gave him the ball back.
I'm so glad that he's finally starting to express what he wants verbally.

Soccer and singing
As I picked him up from daycare today, Swe-cha points to the soccer field beside his school playground...
Swe-cha: [s]occer (while pointing to the players in the soccer field)
We moved closer to the field as I wasn't sure if I heard him right...
Swe-cha: [s]occer!
Mommy: Wow! that's right, you're so good... how did you know about that ?
Swe-cha: I know! (and hides his head in my neck as if embarassed)
-------------
These days, he loves to play the piano app in his iPad and sing "do re mi" or "Old Mc Donald"...
