It started with Chinese style adobo with egg on Saturday, paired with rice (thick lugaw) but he only ate a little. I ruined his appetite for dinner when I gave him the egg & cheese filling of a wakeup wrap from Dunkin Donuts at 6:30pm.
Then on Sunday, he had bulalo soup for lunch (he liked!) and pork giniling with carrots and potatoes for dinner. I usually cook the latter with lesser sauce but I suddenly realized, as I was cooking it, that I could easily add more broth to make it a viable ulam for Swe-cha. Both times, he ate the ulam with a mixture of rice and rice cereal.
Note to self: he likes bulalo soup but not beef nilaga. And no, the bulalo soup was not oily at all.
Yep, we're definitely getting there.
