Brownie Squares

Today was World Class Service Day in our company. It means that we get to have free lunch served to us by our company's top executives.

Thinking that hubby might like the chocolate chips in the brownies, I brought some home in a coffee cup.
I filled a medium coffee cup to the brim with these brownies and as I type this, I glanced back into the cup and see that Swe-cha had eaten all but these....

... and he's still working on them.

Urinal

Two school-days after we received the note from Swe-cha's teacher that he went potty in school, we get another note. This time, it's to let us know that he has been going pee-pee in the urinal and *drum roll please* he has been dry all afternoon.

Yay.

Potty

We've been making an extra effort to get Swe-cha to use the potty these days. He loves it and we didn't really encounter any resistance because he loves to "wash" and "flush" and he gets to do both, even flushing multiple times, when he goes to the bathroom.

We didn't really tell his teachers nor his caregivers at daycare yet because we weren't sure if he was ready yet. He would go potty in the bathroom when we remember to bring him there, but he's not at the stage where he'll ask to go.

Today, he came home with this note in his bag. I guess this means we have to start sending training pants instead of diapers now :)

Updates

Today is one of those days that proves just how contrary Swe-cha can be.

Some weeks ago, I blogged about how he loved the egg sandwiches I made for myself and finished 2 in one sitting. I've made more for him and several different occasions since then and he didn't eat any of them.

This morning, I was hungry and decided to make one for myself, he ate it.

This afternoon, I decided to make another one for myself (since I missed having this morning's), he ate it. I made another one for myself and he ate it again. After 2 eggs, I dare not make "myself" another one and risk Swe-cha eating 3 in one sitting. I looked around and found a Fiber One brownie, guess who ate it ?

I guess the secret to getting him to eat is to for me to try and eat because we all know just how much he wants to save me from gaining weight ;)
