We got sent home from the daycare today.
Swe-cha was too excited to sleep last night and finally dozed off at 2a. He woke up at 11a today, I fed him and dropped him off at the daycare by 12nn. By 1:30, they were calling me to come and pick him up. He was crying non-stop and his loud screams were waking the other children and making them cry too - he does get his voice from his dad's side of the family (I can almost imagine the staff's anxiety at having to calm down a roomful of crying toddlers *cringe*). He calmed down as soon as he saw me.
We were sent home with firm instructions to get him to wake up by 8a at the latest and in the daycare by 9a to give him enough time to settle in and play with the other kids before naptime. I'm supposed to wake him up no matter what time he slept the night before so that a schedule can be established for him. Be firm.
THIS is the Swe-cha I know, that's why I was so surprised that yesterday went so well. I'm hoping that tomorrow goes better.
