Swe-cha has been eating Dunkin Donuts' Egg & Cheese Wake-Up Wrap for the longest time. It's his absolute favorite and I dare not even mention it unless we are in the vicinity of a DD and can easily get one.
I've made attempts to make egg at home but aside from soft boiled eggs, he never really ate any of the other ones until this morning.
He'd already had breakfast and thinking that we probably won't be able to grab lunch until around 1p, I decided to make an egg & cheese sandwich for myself. I made it an open-faced one (only 1 bread) in an attempt to make it low-carb (that's my concession to dieting, haha!).
When he saw my plate, he pointed to it and said egg. I said yes and offered it to him. He opened his mouth as if to take a bite but as the egg neared his mouth, he moved away. I expected that so I just offered it again and when he declined, I started eating.
After a few bites, he was back, saying "egg". I offered it to him again and this time, he ate! He finished the rest of my sandwich (more than half) and this marks a milestone today - he ate a home-made egg & cheese sandwich which, in my opinion, is way better than DD's in the sense that there's a greater egg to bread ratio :-)
