Sweet Corn

Swe-cha's lunch for today was Beechnut Sweetcorn, he loved it!

Just recently, I was wondering why his solids intake had not moved forward, he is still taking the usual amount that I've been giving him (1 oz milk mixed with enough cereal to achieve a certain consistency). I try to make a little bit more than that for each meal, just to see if he would eat more, but he never does.

Early this week, I decided to change things a bit. After he stopped eating his cereal and veggies, I opened up a can of fruit and tried to give it to him. To my surprise, he ate 3 more oz! Almost finished the whole jar. That led me to the realization that when he stops eating, it does not necessarily mean that he's full, it just means that he does not want more of what he's eating. So these days, I always give him dessert (fruit or yogurt) and thankfully, his milk intake does not seem to have lessened even with these additional solids.
