Adobo Egg

I made adobo for dinner tonight and on a whim, I decided to make some lugaw too (unflavored) - basically, just rice that's been boiled until it's soft and mushy.

I mixed in some adobo sauce with the lugaw, mashed some egg yolk (adobo egg) and fed it to Swe-cha and wow! he just couldn't get enough and didn't let go on my hand / arm the first few mouthfuls.

He ate 2 small bowls of this mixture before he started spitting it out (this is his cue that he does not want to "chew" anymore". So I prepped some of the lotus root broth I was keeping for him, thickened it with rice cereal and he ate 1 more big bowl of the soup-cereal mix.

We're happy.
