Swe-cha's feedings are usually very erratic, he would feed anywhere between 0.5 oz to 5 oz each feeding and it's so hard to predict if he's hungry or not because he could go for 5 hrs w/o eating and then drink half an ounce and yet sometimes, he would be hungry for milk again 2 hrs after taking 5 ounces and drink another 3 more.
Fortunately, we are blessed with more than enough breastmilk so we can tolerate his erratic feedings and we can afford to always have a bottle of fresh (or thawed/warmed-up) breastmilk on hand just in case he gets hungry. The drawback is that at the end of the day, we usually have a lot of milk-gone-bad.
Mommy is so happy and proud of you, Swe-cha.
I didn't realize you have a new blog! :) my little boy was not much of a bottle drinker either. When he has extra & we put it back in the ref, if it's still within the consumption, then we just add it to his rice cereal or whatever food. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Swe-cha! :-)
ReplyDeleteMandy: Yeah, wanted to keep this separate para di naman riddled with non-related posts :P Are you still breastfeeding your son ?
