Pre-baptism seminar

We attended our church's pre-baptism seminar last night and had to bring Swe-Cha along. He has been extra-fussy these past few days so I was a bit apprehensive, I was worried that he might cry or throw a tantrum and disrupt the class so all day long, I've been whispering and talking to him, hoping that perhaps, he will cooperate.

He wasn't too happy about being strapped in the car seat on our way to church - but then again, he always fights us when he's being strapped in the car seat nowadays so this was nothing new. When we got to class, there was one other baby. Coincidentally, the other couple with the baby was also in the same birthing class that we attended last year, their baby is 6 weeks older than ours. The parents get to be classmates in birthing class, the babies get to be baptismal-mates (?) in the same ceremony.

Swe-cha made me so proud during the class! He was napping when we arrived at the class and woke up soon after (the other baby was making some noise). He then whimpered a little so I took him out of his carrier and placed him on my lap. Aba, he was like a little grown up. He looked around and paid attention to Fr Richard. He would also turn to look at the other baby whenever he (the other baby) made a noise.

One time, Fr Richard even asked a question where everybody shook their heads, he also shook his head along with us - but I have to admit, this was purely accidental on his part. Hubby saw another mommy sitting near us point to Swe Cha and whisper to her husband, "He's cute".

Mommy was and is so proud :)
