I've been reading books to Swe-Cha on and off since he was born, but he didn't really pay any attention until tonight. He didn't go to sleep after feeding and pretty soon, I soon ran out of ways to amuse him. He was bored.

So I decided to bring out the books again and try reading to him. He surprised me not only by paying attention but he also expressed a preference for one book over the others - I would alternate reading the books to him until eventually, he would cry and scream if I read from the other books but would smile, coo, wave his arms and kick his legs when the "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch is taken out.

His Daddy, not to be outdone, brought out his most colorful Pugad Baboy comic book and showed that to Swe-cha. *yawn* No interest. Not even a glance. Ang kulit ni daddy eh.
