1 week to go

Looks like we have everything we need - at least the ones that we can think of right now. Hubby and I decided to go out last Monday to pick up that crib from the store instead of just waiting till Swe-Cha outgrows the bassinet (the one that comes w/ the playard).

This week's visit to the OB for my pre-natal checkup yielded good results, it was one of those rare OB visits when I actually felt that my time was not wasted. OB was in a good mood and answered my questions adequately so I was satisfied.

She did tell me one thing though, sort of like a kunswelo de bobo, she pokes around in my tummy then measures the baby and says, "You're lucky you're having a c-section, most Filipinos have 6 pound babies, this is at least a 7 pounder."

*ulk*

In a way, I am glad we decided not to splurge on those tiny newborn clothes.
