13 weeks

We consider ourselves abundantly blessed this year because we both got to enjoy Mother's Day last May and Father's day yesterday with the knowledge that we're going to be parents soon.

We are currently at 13 weeks now and we're very happy to see that everything is well according to the ultrasound this morning. I'm still feeling worse that I did in my first 8 weeks as I've had frequent bouts of nausea these past couple of weeks but I'm not complaining - I figure, I can live with the nausea and I'd rather have that than the other more serious symptoms that other expectant mothers experience.

We got to see Swe-Cha jumping about, ang kulit nya ah. He/She kept jumping and jerking, parang kinikiliti and of course, as parents are wont to do, we found the movements so cute and wonderful. I swear, if the sonologist weren't in the room with us, I'd probably giggle and jump with glee too.

This is how Swe-Cha looks like now. He/She looks more human now and you can see the facial features already.
